3D QR Code Generator

Your links. Your details. Ready for your next print.

Your links, Wi-Fi passwords, and contact details stay in this browser. Anyone scanning the finished code can read them.

What should it share?

Higher correction adds redundancy and may need a larger tile. The standard margin is four modules; compact options are under Shape.

What is 3D QR Code Generator?

The MiniForge 3D QR Code Generator turns website links, Wi-Fi credentials and vCard contacts into printable flat tiles and keychain tags. Design and scan checks run locally in your browser.

What can you create?

Create a guest Wi-Fi tile, a contact keychain or a tile linking to your website. Choose raised geometry or a flush color inlay, with six relief styles across the QR code.

Key features

  • URL, Wi-Fi and vCard contact input
  • Automatic or manual QR version and four error-correction levels
  • Raised or flush modules with standard margins and optional compact QR fill
  • Eight visual body patterns, independent outer and inner finder eyes, filament colors, logos and captions
  • Optional separate border mesh with its own filament color and adjustable corner radius
  • Interactive assembled/separate 3D views and a locally decoded customized scan image
  • Free branded STL and Bambu 3MF; DIAMOND watermark removal and batch links

How to use 3D QR Code Generator

  1. Enter your link, Wi-Fi credentials or contact details.
  2. Choose a flat tile or keychain, then add an optional border and set its color and corner radius.
  3. Check the scan image with your phone and review module size and contrast.
  4. Export Bambu 3MF for separate filament parts, or STL for raised geometry. Inspect the sliced model and scan the finished print.

Supported file formats

Export a unified STL or a Bambu 3MF project with aligned filament parts. Separate borders and QR inserts are distinct printable objects in Bambu 3MF, or separate STL files in a ZIP. You can also export either piece individually. Flush QR inserts require Bambu 3MF to preserve their color pattern. Save editable settings as a MiniForge JSON project. DIAMOND members can batch 1–25 links into a ZIP.

Requirements and limitations

Digital decoding is not a guarantee that a physical print will scan. Use contrasting filaments, keep the quiet zone clear, and check fine modules in your slicer. Saved projects and exported QR codes contain the information you entered, including Wi-Fi passwords. Commercial use of MiniForge tools requires an active DIAMOND membership on Patreon. Third-party artwork and icon licenses still apply; membership does not grant rights to someone else’s artwork. Read the Terms of Use before selling prints.

Frequently asked questions

Can I make a Wi-Fi QR code for 3D printing?

Yes. Enter the network name, password and encryption type. The code is generated locally. Anyone who scans it can read the encoded credentials.

Will a printed QR code scan?

The standard setting uses a four-module quiet zone. Compact options use less margin and need careful print testing. Printer quality, contrast, lighting and module size still matter. Scan the finished print with your phone before sharing it.

Which file format should I use?

Bambu 3MF preserves separate code and backing filament parts. STL is a unified solid for raised codes; flush codes need the separate color parts in 3MF.

Is the 3D QR Code Generator free?

Personal-use single exports are free with MiniForge underside branding. DIAMOND membership on Patreon unlocks commercial use, watermark removal and batch links.
